Auto Update Compatibility Issue

Hello!

I am using the Varbase theme for several of my projects on Drupal 9 and now I started a new project on Drupal 10. A nice feature of Drupal 10 is the AutoUpdate module. So I installed the 3.0.2 version of this module on a Drupal 10.2 site with Varbase 10.0.0-rc1. When I ran the Auto Update readiness checks, the following messages were displayed:

1. Any packages other than the implicitly allowed packages are not allowed to scaffold files. (In my case it is the vardot/varbase package).
2. Unsupported Composer plugins were detected.
   • oomphinc/composer-installers-extender
   • wikimedia/composer-merge-plugin

Is there something to do with the first issue? Is there something I can change in composer.json to make this go away, without damaging the usage of the Varbase theme?

Regarding the unsupported composer plugins - are these necessary?

I would appreciate your support on this issue as I love the Varbase theme, and I would also like to benefit of the promises Auto Updated module makes.
