This may be a nothingburger. I just copied the site that was having this issue over to another server. Both are LEMP stack, PHP8.1, MariaDB 10.4, Drupal 10.2.4. The one I just copied over has no issue with the namespacing ("class: Drupal\spamspan\TwigExtension\SpamspanExtension" is just fine for it). No idea why these two acted differently. Marking "Closed (cannot reproduce)" for now.
