Hello! I have found this to be the only module which allows me to remove duplicates based on trimmed field values after the trim has taken place. Thank you for your work.
I'm very pleased that this is the case, but as I wanted the output to be a list of singular fields (serving as an "A - Z" navigation on another display) it doesn't make much sense that this be a table, and I'm going to have to override a bunch of default table-styling to have it display as an inline list.
1. Create View Display using this module.
2. It is a table
Provide the option of choosing the content, row and field elements, so that they can be something like "ul > li > span" instead of only "table > tr > td"

You can achieve this by simply overriding the twig.html template of your view (or view type).

Creating a new style plugin is not in the plans. And it is definitely more work than overriding a bunch of default table-styling.
