Hi, I've recently become a maintainer of https://www.drupal.org/project/webform_protected_downloads → and produced a release that is compatible with Drupal 10. Please could you review that documentation and make any updates you feel are appropriate? I'm quite aware that I'm bound to have been biased towards 'my' module, and that I'm at least less knowledgeable about yours! (Though I did carefully evaluate each of these projects myself for my client before deciding that webform_protected_downloads had the most potential to fit their requirements.)
Could you also consider adding a link to this comparison from your project page to help users evaluate which project is most suitable for their requirements?
Of course if it's helpful, I'd be more than happy to discuss and/or work together to find common paths forward for our projects. I believe we're all trying to solve similar problems, perhaps some better shared understanding could help our users.
