10.2.0 fairly vanilla site. I added some steps to a Content Type, dragged fields under the step I wanted and everything worked as expected. Later I decided to change the order of some steps and fields within some steps by dragging this around, but reordering things is a real problem. I thought a cache clear would take care of it but it doesn't.
I have fields tied to the wrong step. I tried just deleting and recreating the steps first but it made no difference. I then tried removing and reinstalling the module with Composer, but the same problems persist!. I had also deleted the module directory in the modules/contrib folder before reinstalling to ensure there was no residual files that might cause a problem.
Could use some advice getting it working as expected again please.
