Hi Dan and thanks for the report. I'm unable to replicate this on a clean install. Have you applied any patches to year_only, or are there any other details you can provide?

Okay, thanks. I'm going to close this issue as a duplicate of ✨ Select/Options formats in views as exposed filter Needs work if you want to follow that one. Looks like the same error was previously reported there (and was the reason it was set back to Needs work).
I wish I could offer an immediate fix, but I suspect the error stems from some foundational issues with the module. I expect to have some time to work on those in the near future.
