Link in registration email doesn't work

Problem/Motivation

The link in the confirmation email sent is not a link.
https://drupalchat.me/#/verify-email/g_DPZdVZpxaZq3DwB1lML1iPyZcPdG2WajE...
When copied to the address bar manually, it calls the page, but shows the login page instead.
Email/account is not registered.

Steps to reproduce

Register a new account.
Have verification email sent to you.
Copy link from verification email.
Paste link into browser.
Try to log in.
Read "This server requires verification" message.
(Tested only once.)

Proposed resolution

Send link as link.
Fix verification procedure.

User interface changes

Would be nice if "Register a new account were available by link on the page
