Focusing on a block and typing causes the page to scroll erratically

Problem/Motivation

Our client flagged that the screen jumps around while editing block content in Microsoft edge. I confirmed in Edge in Browserstack that the block tends to scroll to the top of the page. Doesn't seem to happen in other browsers.

Note: This appears to be fixed on the WP end (not sure how this will relate to the Drupal version of this if at all) https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/17255

Steps to reproduce

You need a page with enough content to scroll.

1. Create or edit a block and start adding some text content
2. The block will scroll to the top of the page.
