I can no longer operate toggles in settings

Created on 20 February 2024, 10 months ago
Updated 7 April 2024, 9 months ago

It is no longer possible to modify any settings in my optionsets that require the use of a toggle. None of the toggles respond to input from my mouse. The ones that are turned off can't be turned on. The ones that are turned on can't be turned off.

I have confirmed that this is not a sitewide issue. I can still operate toggles in the UIs of other modules, but not in my Slick optionsets.

It is possible to modify and save slick settings that don't use a toggle input.

I am observing this bug with my existing optionset, and also with any new optionsets I create.

Please find solutions in the linked issue.

I hope someday Drupal project issues have a required checkbox saying:
[x] I have used the project issues searchbox and found no dups, or cannot find dups, yet.

Mere warning on the sidebar searchbox appears to be useless.

Dups, although perfectly fine and tolerable to some extent, indicate lack of homework aka due diligence, legally speaking.

I observed Github project issues appear to have more such homework quality, so hopefully Drupal ones can, too.

You will save your precious time by writing few keywords in the searchbox for quick solutions, in case any existing. Especially in a 10-year-old module where issues may likely be addressed already.

    Be warned!
Dups often times got non-responsive close, flat or even not-so-friendly aka snarky replies due to some unbearably boring repetitions which may in turn cost you inconvenience even when I didn't mean it. Especially invalid bug, or patch issues, for sure.

This project with fairly huge installs needs and welcomes more quality and constructive contributions, and minimize dups, hopefully.

Did I do such dups myself? Most likely like most newbies at my early encounters. But I learned to avoid it for quite a long long while, so hopefully anyone did, too.

    Note:
Postponed for such noble expectations, not because we got this OP problem.

    Thank you.
