Pantheon git submodule issue

Pantheon will not allow this module into code base due to a git submodule issue. However, I can't find a git submodule in order to delete it so code base can be synced on Pantheon. Has anybody here experienced the same issue? If so, how did you solve it? Thank you.

hm... Not sure what does it have to do with Profile? There's no submodules?

We use https://github.com/TopFloorTech/composer-cleanup-vcs-dirs to clean out any .git files installed in contib installed via composer
