Is there a way to see what cron job(s) are actually running

Created on 6 February 2024, 5 months ago

Problem/Motivation

I am very new to Ultimate Cron. Just installed it to try and solve a problem.

I am seeing 100% httpd utilization in my log which I *suspect* is due to a running cron job. Based upon the fact that I see "solr" pop up in the "top" command, and the fact that I have a LOT of nodes and files that I inserted this week, I also think the culprit is search api.

The thing is, I just don't know for sure. So my question is: Is there some way with Ultimate Cron to figure out what this is, and stop it if it is a running cron job?

Steps to reproduce

Again, I don't know if it is, in fact search api, but this is what I see in settings:

And in the search api cron logs:

Since my search api index has shown an incomplete status for at least a couple days now:

This is why I suspect Search API. But, if it is, what can I do about it? How can I stop the process, or modify setting in some way to accommodate the fact it is dealing with a huge amount of content.

Proposed resolution

Just looking for some guidance here as to how to approach this if it is a cron issue.
