"Not node type" not working in preview mode

Problem/Motivation

We have a block configured so that it doesn't display on a particular node type. It works after saving the node and viewing the page. However the block is displayed when previewing the node.

Proposed resolution

I haven't dug too deeply into the code but I imagine we need to account for \Drupal::routeMatch()->getParameter('node_preview').
