Leverage Core Media for Image Files

Problem/Motivation

I would like to be able to leverage core media with this module. This way I can reuse an image that I'm currently using elsewhere on my drupal site as my menu icon. This will help prevent adding duplicate files to my drupal site. This will also make it easier to use the same menu icon image for one or more menu items without having to upload the image multiple times (and adding duplicate files and appending _0 to the file name).
