Easy Email dependent on drupal/jquery_ui_resizable module which is deprecated...

Problem/Motivation

Not sure if this is the proper forum, but when I run composer why drupal/jquery_ui_resizable, I get this:
drupal/easy_email 2.1.0-rc2 requires drupal/jquery_ui_resizable (^2.0)

I can see in Easy Email's composer.json that this Drupal module is still a dependency.

So I was wondering if there are any plans to remove this dependency and/or if there's anything I can do to not rely on it anymore (as that project itself is deprecated, there are no plans for a Drupal 10 compatible version).
