Wanting to Optimize PDF files

Problem/Motivation

Trying to see if this module fits my use case, but I think it might only be geared to optimizing images? I would like documents, mainly PDFs uploaded to be optimized, ideally I would like to restrict it to only some PDF files, maybe in the from of an option when configuring a field for a content type for example.

Is that in this modules scope? Or is it just an API interface, and a submodule to process images (media_thumbnail)?

I did attempt to run the module, though the webhooks requirement means I probably can't fully test it locally with DDEV, and I can't seem to get any files to appear in the task list /admin/config/media/cloudconvert/task (note I did not install the submodule media_thumbnail)
