I think we have another issue here. The side by side translation should not affect the

@mkalkbrenner In that case, by default, we can set target_type as 'node'.

It is not affecting node/add/* page.
So the issue description is wrong. But that doesn't matter.
Hardcoding
nodeis wrong, too. The only acceptable fix is to set the correct target type.
