Group 3.x / Drupal 10.2.x compatible version

Problem/Motivation

The current version of the module Group Forum is not compatible with Groups 3.x nor with Drupal 10.2.x. The latter has also introduced a conflict between VariationCache and the new core dynamic_page_cache module. admin/modules shows that group_forum requires VariationCache.

Steps to reproduce

N/A the module compatibility is only for Groups 1.x

Proposed resolution

Update the Group Forum module to be compatible with current Groups and Drupal versions.

Remaining tasks

1. The code linked at this older issue https://www.drupal.org/project/group_forum/issues/3349564 📌 Group 2.x compatible version Active may be suitable to merge into the module.
2. Additionally, if Group Forum uses the contrib module VariationCache, then it needs to be updated to use the new core dynamic_page_cache module.
3. Unknown what other issues with Groups 3.x also need to be addressed.
