@cilefen there are custom modules but nothing related to the issue.
This bug started happening after upgrading from Drupal 9 to Drupal 10.
The custom modules/code are the same, thus irrelevant imho. - Status changed to Postponed: needs info

I followed the steps in the IS and could not reproduce the issue
When you save the Child entity, that's already resulting in an updated view on the parent, even without previewing. I think this would most likely be a caching issue in custom code but will set to PMNMI to see if we can get steps to reproduce from a fresh Drupal install.

It's been over 3 months without a response so I'm closing this as cannot reproduce.
