Also seeing this issue. Patch #2 seems to resolve the fatal error. I also tested the merge request (!13) but this did not resolve the error and I did not see it get caught by the catch block that was added. Still resulted in the same Error: Call to a member function replace() on null in Drupal\webform_rest\Plugin\rest\resource\WebformFieldsResource->get()

Got the same error and can confirm #2 fixing the issue.
