Google sitemaps ping endpoint has gone away

Thanks for the ticket. I will be pushing an update forcefully disabling sitemap pinging for Google. Until then it can be disabled via UI here: /admin/config/search/simplesitemap/engines/settings.

@Jons I will be creating a release soon, as soon as I feel the dev version has been tested by the community. I don't think however not having a release should stop you from doing whatever it is you are doing, as you can just remove the google engine directly from the active configuration.
