Module Group recurring events

Problem/Motivation

I created this issue because the Group recurring events module would be very useful to me but I cannot use it

Steps to reproduce

With
Php 8.2
Drupal 10
Enabling the group_recurring_events_series module does not seem to have any effect, even after enabling "Event series entity" group content types in /admin/group/types/manage/flexible_group/content
I didn't find any additional fields or parameters.
Does the module work?
The doc https://www.drupal.org/docs/contributed-modules/recurring-events → does not mention this.
Should we add a field to the entities?
Or did I leave something out?
