No similar tagged nodes show up

I had a similar issue and discovered, as I was trying things, that setting the default value to a fixed value (which I did just for testing) and then setting it back to Content ID from URL seemed to get it working again.

I’m having the same problem and I tried also as Kristi suggested by toggling between Content ID from URL and Default value, but still no similar terms show up in the block I created.

Also, after reading through the ReadMe and thinking about this module I’m possibly not understanding something. I don’t completely understand the need for this module if you can achieve the same things using Views and setting Contextual Filters & Relationships with Taxonomy Terms on Node? I’m just trying to wrap my head around what this module does beyond a configuration within just Views. Thanks for your help.
