Markup changes don't apply with Layout Builder

Problem/Motivation

When using Layout Builder to manage a display mode, the Entity Markup config does not apply.

Steps to reproduce

Add a display mode and make markup changes to a field. The markup changes show when the display mode does not use LB. Manage the display mode with LB and the markup changes don't show.
