Remove cleared/old notifications

Problem/Motivation

I would like to suggest adding a new feature to remove the cleared notifications (old). I'm not sure if this is already included in the module as I can see the old notifications still exist in the DB.

I think no one will need the old notifications, also there is no place to view them.
