I'm not totally sure, but I do think this will solve your issue:

once you have completed the first module and perhaps any other modules, from the Training home page (/group/X) , when the user clicks on "Continue Training" the link always goes to group/x/learning-path/start and it always goes to the first module , which gets marked as undone and they have to do it again. Why is this?
