Branding block does not display Site slogan when selected

Problem/Motivation

The Site Branding block includes options to display site logo, site name, and site slogan. I am only able to get the logo and site name to display in the block; the site slogan will not display.

Steps to reproduce

  1. In System settings, set both a Site name and a Site slogan that are not the same.
  2. In Appeance, provide a logo.
  3. In Site Branding block, set the options for logo, site name, and site slogan to display.
  4. Place the Site Branding block on the page to view.

(I am a site builder; I would not know how to contribute a patch.)
