Existing short aliases do not display on taxonomy term edit form

Problem/Motivation

Existing short aliases do not display on taxonomy term edit form. This is misleading. A content editor should know if a short alias exists for a term.

Steps to reproduce

Edit a taxonomy term, and add a short alias, then save. Reload the term edit form and see that the short alias is missing. Check the database and see that it actually exists.

Proposed resolution

Stop hardcoding the internal path for nodes, and actually retrieve the internal path of whatever entity is being edited.
