Views Entity Reference Filter not playing nice with Chosen

I'm running into issues when using a Views exposed Entity Reference Filter with Chosen (configured through the Chosen module UI). On page load, the Chosen input displays correctly, but after you submit the filter once, it reverts to the default Entity Reference Filter.

I see notes → that Chosen jQuery library added to the dev version of this module and am wondering how this is supposed to be configured?
