Search API cron is not rebuilding index

I’m sorry, this is definitely working for the vast majority of users, and with this little information it’s not possible for me to guess what could be going wrong in your case. Could you provide more details? For instance, what exactly do you mean by this: “Also search api cron not rebuilding index or tracking information of content and we could also see node is getting duplicated”?
Also, have you tried enabling “Index items immediately” for your search index? If you don’t have too many node creations/updates per day this could be a good solution.

PS: It seems you (like many others – it's really easy to misinterpret) are confused by the "Issue tags" field. As the guidelines → state, they aren't meant for free text tags related to the issue, but only for specific categorization purposes, usually by module maintainers.
So, if you aren't sure your current usage is correct, please just leave the field empty.
