Blocks not saved after using media library on a site.

Problem/Motivation

When adding a custom block to a page through the layout builder widget and also using media library on an image field on the node, a block is not saved inside the layout builder.
A block is not saved only when a media library widget is being used for setting an image field and only when you are creating a node. When a node is saved, saving/adding a block always works.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a content type that needs to have at least an image field (with media library widget set on form display) and a layout builder section.
  2. Go and add new node
  3. Upload a new image to the image field
  4. Add any custom block to a layout builder section
  5. Save the node
  6. Check if a custom block on a node has been saved
