3. Preview

    If you indeed added the includes to the simple_decouple_preview settings form, the only thing I can suggest is testing the same request directly against jsonapi endpoint with the user role. An easy way to do this would be using the key_auth module and passing api-key for a user with the content editor role as a query param. If you don't see includes still with that test, then there is an access issue around the permissions you have set or possible something related to a CORE bug in jsonapi perhaps around content moderation + paragraphs?
