Does not work with inline entity form fields

Problem/Motivation

Choices widgets do not work with Inline Entity Form → . Initialisation using original field names fails because IEF renames form element name attributes.

Steps to reproduce

Set Inline Entity Form complex widget for a parent entity reference field, set Choices widget for a child entity field.

Proposed resolution

Add inline entity form alter hook and use IEF field name attributes for choices settings.

The JS attach function is called several times with inline entity forms, so also add a check for already initialised elements.

I have changed the check to be based on a stored handle. In addition to being used for the check, stored handles are useful for access from other scripts.
