When nodes fail to import, a simple message is displayed using
instead of an error message. Also the message does not provide any reason for the failure.
Import nodes when certain dependencies/field not present on the target content type.
Any hint regarding what's the target content type is missing would really help.
Give an error message indicating the list of field names missing for a proper import instead of success message.

I just tried to import a node which failed but I got 2 conflicting messages:
Status message
Node has been imported succesfully.
One node could not be imported.
So, yes, some additional information would be quite helpful.
Note: I'm exporting a node from a Drupal 9 site and importing to a Drupal 10 site.
