Can we update the project page to link to Field Expression https://www.drupal.org/project/field_expression → instead of Mathfield? Mathfield still only works in D7. Field Expression has a stable Drupal 10 release with the main features that Mathfield had.
It has a UI that accepts tokens and math expressions in field UI. Super usable for folks who aren't ready to write custom hooks.
