Order sent to Afterpay using order ID without consideration for order number

Afterpay requires that orders have the same user-visible order numbers between the store and Afterpay. Currently, this module creates an Afterpay checkout instance using the order ID, which may not be user-visible due to different configurable order number patterns in Drupal commerce.

    I did some investigative work here and it's not possible. Order numbers are not assigned to orders in cart/checkout and Afterpay provides no way to update the merchant reference after an Afterpay checkout instance is created.
