My use case is that I want to show field_a in the table, but field_b when field_a is empty.
This module would be helpful for me, but I noticed after setting it up that I couldn't modify the table like I can using HOOK_field_widget_single_element_FORM_ID_form_alter. I was using this to manipulate the appearance of the operations buttons.
