Leverage the new Gitlab CI integration

Currently the Gitlab CI pipeline for this module is broken. It fails at the build phase and doesn't even get to any tests.

Drupal provides a template that includes a good basic setup for testing a module. In a first step we should use this template to get to a running basic pipeline again.

Next up we should fix any issues with the module this switch might reveal.

Finally, we should patch-in any holes, either testing methods missing in the pipeline, or testing capabilities the module is currently not benefiting from.
