Default Confirmation redirect path not working

Problem/Motivation

After registration user is not redirected to desired page, only Confirmation message is displayed.

Steps to reproduce

Create registration type, create content type using the Registration field type.
Set Registration as required field and set its default values Confirmation redirect path to custom URL (i.e. /after-registration)
Register to host entity as anonymous user only confirmation message is displayed.
