@jurgenhass - you accidentally put the config in /config/schema/install/ instead of /config/install/, but not a big deal once I figured out why it wasn't working :p
I also simplified the default configuration just a little bit and added the core "filter" module as a dependency to Markdown Easy in order for tests to pass.
I've committed this as well as updated the README and documentation.
