How to disable some modules

Hi

I want to build a very simple e-learning website and the complete Opigno distribution is too much for me. I don't need many modules and wanted to know how is it possible to strip it down? I wanted to uninstall some modules through the interface but it was not possible because all modules has "opigno_lms" as a dependency.
