Couldn't disable field from mapping

Problem/Motivation

Fields which are enabled for mapping couldn't be excluded from the map.

Steps to reproduce

Add any field to the Entity References Map of the node type by checking 'Enable mapping' near the field at node type Map configuration form. Submit the form and then uncheck 'Enable mapping' for the field and submit the form again - field still is checked as 'Enable mapping'.
