Problem/Motivation
After upgrading the module to version 3.0.0 from 3.0.0-alpha1 I got the following error on nodes with Paragraph Sets enabled.

Proposed resolution
The issue seems to be with this recent commit for dealing with modal displays. It is checking against an $elements variable that hasn't been previously declared.
