How to retrieve the ID of an entity created by a previous webform entity handler?

Problem/Motivation

I have the same need as "chertzog".
=> I have a webform that creates multiple entities that need to reference each other.

"This value [the new entity created] is stored in the operation field." don't explain to me how to use the new entity created in a following webform_entity_handler.

Proposed resolution

The solution proposed by "chertzog" via the attached patch, and improved by "Duvan.Slabbert", works very well and is simple and common sense to use.
