Dependent View embed disappears when saving Parent View

Problem/Motivation

We have a View "Events" (Parent).

We have a separate View "Locations" with embeds (Child). We can use this for various types of other views and displays.

When the parent view is saved, the embeds from the child view disappears. It is necessary to go to the child view and click Save, then the embeds reappear.
