Add horizontal and vertical options for control thumbnails

Problem/Motivation

I was seeing if it is possible to control the display of the location of the thumbnails both vertically as here capture and horizontally which is what we currently have, I saw here that they have that option in the demo here as the following screenshot, that's why I think that It would be a great addition to this module
