Date field is showing empty in edit form even after storing the date

Problem/Motivation

Date field is showing empty in dependency manage edit form even after storing a date in the "insert value from widge" mode. Here the date field is conditional field.

Steps to reproduce

a> First create a date field with date only preference
b> Then select as conditional field in "manage dependency"
c> Store the preferred date
d> once again click the edit
