inlinejs got broken

I am trying to showcase an HTML page that includes inline JavaScript content using this module. The HTML page loads fine when the URL alias is turned off. However, when the URL alias is activated, the page malfunctions, and I noticed that the JavaScript appears to be encoded. Upon examining the section, I noted the inclusion of "utf-8". I would greatly appreciate it if someone could share the required steps to address this issue.
