Using TFA as REST service

I have a vuejs app working with Drupal 10 and I was wondering if we can use TFA (configuration TOTP and validating token) with REST.

I tried to implement a custom route where the QR Code could be generated and displayed as a json field but it doesn't work.

I guess I could just redirect the user to the Drupal page TFA configuration page.

Closing this since TFA disable the ability to login in through rest.
