When offering buttons in a UI for available transitions, it would be nice to style them as a primary, default or dangerous (As per the Drupal User Interface Standards → ). Perhaps a field on a transition would be the best place to support this.
I understand transitions are not always triggered by a user interface, so calling it button_type might not be the best name. Maybe someone has a suggestion.

I've been following issue #3282355 ✨ Add a 'description' field to the schema for states and transitions RTBC as I think the two might have similar needs in terms of where to store the extra information about a transition. Thought I'd share in case someone is considering this problem.
