Drupal Core 9.3 is no longer in support here.
This was also posted as: https://drupal.stackexchange.com/questions/316698/open-social-module-doe...
This was also posted in the issue queues of distributions, so it is probably a duplicate. We at the very least would need to see some relevant Drupal logs, the web browser console log, and explicit setup steps to work out an answer.

i got some information from the open social slack channel :
https://github.com/goalgorilla/open_social/pull/3015
We have attempted this however we have some fundamental issues with it before it could hit the distribution; See: https://github.com/goalgorilla/open_social/pull/3015#issuecomment-166184...
However the changes in the pull request might give you an idea on what it takes to get it working.

i found if i modify this line : // Allowed formats.
$allowed_format = 'simple_text'; in social_editor.module to $allowed_format = 'restricted_html' and also make sure the restricted html format has a ckeditor configured to it, i get a wysiwig not only on posts but on comments as well. - Status changed to Active
